  1. Yupp got it dude. I just went back into my environmental variables and changed it over to Python34!! Thanks for the help :D
  2. Also in video 4 for the calculator "div" , "mul", and "sub" do not work and are not recognized as correct syntax. "Add" is the only one that seems to work.
  3. Thanks this worked!! I have also the latest version of python (Python34) installed on my computer. Do you recommend I use this whilst doing these exercises in your videos rather than using Python27 which is the version I am currently using. Edit--- Thanks for the quick response also! Update--- I have tried running "myName = input("What is your name?")" on Python version 3.4 and I am still getting the same "Traceback (most recent call last)" error that I originally reported but works fine again once I change it to "myName = raw_input("What is your name?")".
  4. Hi does anyone know what this error message means or why I am getting it? C:\Users\Dean\Desktop>python helloworld.py Hello World What is your name?Dean Traceback (most recent call last): File "helloworld.py", line 2, in <module> myName = input("What is your name?") File "<string>", line 1, in <module> NameError: name 'Dean' is not defined I am using Notepad++ to do the editing and this is what I have typed in so far, pretty straight forward right..? print("Hello World") myName = input("What is your name?") print(myName) I have the .py file saved on my Desktop as you can see and there doesn't appear to be any error on my behalf. I've been following the video correctly (I think).
